Virtual Learning Assessment
NOW is the perfect time to regroup and assess progress made (or not made) since the beginning of this unique school year.

  • Have you been given PROGRESS REPORTS for your child's IEP goals? If not, ask for them! If so, does the district have work samples or other data to back them up? Make sure you see what they are using to measure progress and make them show you and PROVE the growth!

  • For those of you who have had eyes and ears inside your child's classroom through virtual instruction, take notes! Keep a journal regarding what is being taught and how your child is responding (both academically and behaviorally). Jot down the good and the bad and share this valuable information with your child's team next time you meet.

  • If something doesn't seem right, YOU KNOW YOUR CHILD BEST. Don't forget to call us if you're not happy with your child's current standing.
