As we celebrate Thanksgiving, the Clergy and Staff at St. Thomas Episcopal Church extend our warmest wishes to each and every one of you. This season of gratitude invites us to reflect on our blessings and to express appreciation for the love and fellowship that surrounds us. Together, we can spread hope and kindness, embodying the spirit of generosity that defines St. Thomas.

Thanksgiving Outreach at St. Thomas

KCDC distributed Thanksgiving takeaway meals to the community this week: Turkey and mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole and stuffing, plus cranberry sauce! Thank you to all the community and church support to make this possible.

A huge “thank you” to our parishioners who brought food and sent gifts of cash to provide Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets for six families served by The Advocates.

Our Middle School and High School Youth gathered on Sunday evening to decorate and fill the food baskets and make Thanksgiving cards, and Abbot Geer (and dad Cam) organized the baking of fresh apple pies.

Special thanks to Debbie Scully and Duncan Morton for helping with provisioning, and to Atkinsons for providing the turkeys. It takes a Village (Church)!
