GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. GivingTuesday inspired people around the world to give gifts of time, skills, goods, advocacy, and more, showing that everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.
TBS loves our Kupuna and offers a helping hand to the elderly who are unable to perform home maintenance and routine tasks such as grocery shopping, laundry, yard work, and other household chores.
For this year's GivingTuesday campaign, we are spotlighting a wonderful local charity, the Hawaii VA Foundation, that has a program to assist the elderly who may need someone to pick up groceries and necessary supplies each week. They have other wonderful services to support our Kupuna as well.
