In the Spirit of Thanksgiving

November 28 is GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. GivingTuesday inspired people around the world to give gifts of time, skills, goods, advocacy, and more, showing that everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.

TBS loves our Kupuna and offers a helping hand to the elderly who are unable to perform home maintenance and routine tasks such as grocery shopping, laundry, yard work, and other household chores.

For this year's GivingTuesday campaign, we are spotlighting a wonderful local charity, the Hawaii VA Foundation, that has a program to assist the elderly who may need someone to pick up groceries and necessary supplies each week. They have other wonderful services to support our Kupuna as well.

Click on "Our Our Kupuna" to get more information about this wonderful program to assist the elderly, and please consider donating your time or resources to this wonderful charity.

Please visit https://www.tbs-benevolence-in-action.org routinely to read new announcements and learn about the various TBS programs. If you are interested in volunteering to assist with any of our programs, please visit the website for contact information.

Special thanks to our handsome models, James Jr., Jacob, and Jaziah and their lovely mother and sisters for creating the GivingTuesday campaign posters and banners for TBS.
