Did you know that when you shop small over half of that money stays in the local community?
This winter we are encouraging you to Shop Small not only on
Small Business Saturday  (November 24) but also for the first two weeks of December! Show your receipt from a small business in the Wauconda Area at the Adult Help Desk between November 24 and December 14, and you will be entered to win a prize from a local business!
The library will close early on Wednesday, 11/21 at 5pm and remain closed all day Thursday for Thanksgiving. See you back at 9am on Friday, 11/23. (sorry, no doorbusters here)
From November 1 to November 30, the library will be collecting the items listed below for donation to PADS. We appreciate your support of those in need in the Wauconda Area!

Please consider donating:
  • Lip Balm/Chapstick
  • Travel Size Deodorant
  • Disposable Razors
  • $5 gift card to McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts
Stop by the Adult Help Desk between November 1 and November 30 to help us honor past and present U.S. service members and enhance our awareness of their service and sacrifice made every day. Stop by with your photos to add to the wall. We will also have thank you notes available to post to show your gratitude.
