Through My Lens

November 2018

We all look at life through our own lens

Sue 2017

As we move into this Holiday season, we have many things to be thankful for and Thanksgiving is a wonderful way to begin to look at those many blessings.
Challenges and hardships we all go through but a grateful and thankful heart will help us through and be a balm for our soul. This season may we all concentrate on those things that are good, true, and right and let those challenges just drift by.

                                                   Until Next Time....

Thanksgiving

Many days before the event
The preparations do take place.
Buying the food, setting the table,
It can be a frantic race.

To be prepared for Thanksgiving Day
When the family all does meet,
To share their lives with each other
As that turkey they all eat.

We give thanks for another year
How God has blessed you and me.
Good health, our family, food to eat,
And other blessings we do not see.

We also gather to review this year
And what a year it has been.
The horrific fires in California
And the smoke for miles it did send.

There are many problems we could dwell on
But what good would all that do?
We will be thankful for what we have
and have a grateful heart too.

So Thanksgiving is a special day
So I would like to say,
"May we always have a thankful heart
Each and every day."
