We are Grateful!
In this season of giving thanks, VBCF is grateful for you!
You - our generous  volunteers,  supporters and donors  -  help us educate and advocate for all Virginians affected by breast cancer.  M ore than 90%  of our funding comes from  individual donors like you who  make our  grassroots ,  state-based  work possible .

Thank you for making a difference!

Congratulations to Senator Tim Kaine and all of Virginia’s returning and new U.S. House of Representatives members! We look forward to working with them to improve the Affordable Care Act, protecting people with pre-existing conditions; increased cancer research funding for our state, and more. These issues are central to a healthy democracy.

VBCF is gearing up for our advocacy work with the General Assembly this winter and our U.S. Congressional Representatives on April 30, 2019. Sign up for VBCF Advocacy Action Alerts to get the latest information and to join us!
You Make our Work Possible!
VBCF staff and volunteers participated in numerous presentations and health fairs since September, ranging from Northern Virginia, Central Virginia, to the Hampton Roads area and beyond. We had repeat event requests as well as new invitations. A special thank you to our superstar volunteers this fall: Jackie Condelli , Marylinn Minor , Susan Siegel , Deborah Brown , Kim Jennings , and Andrea Weisman !
Thank you to all our supporters who helped us raise over $10,000 in online donations in October and helping us secure a matching gift of $10,000 from Tito's!

This matching gift is especially meaningful to VBCF because Tito's gives it in honor of Donna Kolvacheck, wife of Bob Kolvacheck, VP of Breakthru Beverage distributing company. Donna had breast cancer and passed away in 2016.
Thank you to all of our wonderful supporters throughout Virginia who make our work possible!
Our special thanks this month goes to the many organizations and businesses who hosted fall events to benefit VBCF, ranging from football games, walks and fitness classes, to employee workplace fundraisers, auto sales and service, and restaurant give-back events.
