Is your company
an eco-Corporate Citizen?
If you are not on the
eco-friendly bandwagon, you might want to jump on before you get noticed. Whole cities are now watching your business. In St. Petersburg, FL, they have banned the use of plastic straws. In Californi
a, e
ach business is responsible for the reuse, recycle, compost, or diversion of solid waste from disposal and
will face charges
for non-compliance.
But don't fret! Here are some things you can do to help you be an excellent
eco-Corporate Citizen
:
- Create an alternate eco-friendly logo. Put it on your website next to a picture of your recycling bins in your office. See ours below.
- Next, giveaway some eco-friendly items with your new eco-logo to customers and referral partners. See our Hot Deals below for an idea.
- Adopt-A-Mile on a roadway, trail or park near your office or close to a place where you have clients. Get some new t-Shirts made with your eco-logo and grab some bags. We can help you out with those shirts!
- Volunteer at Keep Pinellas Beautiful or your local equivalent by taking a half-day to help clean the beaches, parks, or waterways in your area. (The Great American Cleanup is a good one) Don't forget to wear those new eco-shirts we made for your company!
Whatever you decide, make sure it is fun, effective, and helps our planet!
