Supported by and within HRSA MCHB’s Collaborative Improvement and Innovation Network on Infant Mortality (IM CoIIN) initiative, PCHHC leads the Preconception CoIIN. CMIH is working with 4 states (California, Delaware, North Carolina, and Oklahoma) and 14 sites. Last month, we brought together over 70 health professionals and key stakeholders for Preconception CoIIN Year Two Meeting, in Atlanta.

The purpose of the meeting was to share progress and preconception health best practices; engage in learning and dialogue on implicit bias and on women's health policy; create opportunities for project site collaboration and targeted technical assistance; connect and engage to build our community. The project's mission is to develop, implement, and disseminate a woman-centered, clinician-engaged, community-involved approach to the well-woman visit to improve the health status of women of reproductive age, particularly low-income women and women of color. Details .
