NEW WEBSITE

  • We're excited to share that the Village has launched a redesigned website at villageofgreenport.gov.
  • Village emails have also been updated - please refer to the Contact page on the website for the most current information.
  • For convenience, the previous website and email addresses will automatically forward to the new ones.

CHANGES DOWNTOWN

  • 400 Front Street welcomes Feuerherm & Hoff, a 20th Century Art & Design store with furniture, lighting, textiles, and art.
  • 214 Front Street welcomes Yvie's 3 Rooms, a space for collectives, consignment, collaboration, creativity, and community.
  • Congratulations to Shelley Scoggins, longtime owner of the Market, on her retirement.
  • North Fork Arts Center is under construction to add an elevator to the large upstairs theatre. Ribbon cutting will be early spring.

GREENPORT NAMED A TREE CITY USA

  • Greenport has been recognized as a Tree City USA for the 19th year. This is a national designation honoring communities that are committed to protecting, maintaining, and growing their public trees for the long term.

  • The Carousel and Mini Railroad committees are still looking for new members, especially parents of younger children.
  • The Camera Obscura and Dances in the Park have ongoing volunteer opportunities.

Southold Town committees are always open to Greenport residents, and Greenporters are encouraged to apply. It's important to have our voices and perspectives represented on town-wide issues. Find descriptions and meeting schedules for committees here:
