WAYS TO GIVE

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope that you are staying warm and feeling the love on this special day!

Our staff has been hard at work getting relief out into the community here in Western North Carolina. Each day we get requests for help with rental and mortgage assistance, medical bills, gas vouchers, supplies and more and we are here to help.

We are excited that starting March 3rd we will be meeting with clients in person by appointment to help them with rental assistance. We will be able to turn funds around in less than 48 hours to help keep our clients housed and warm this winter. You can also see more info about our Hurricane relief efforts on the link below.

We also have several exciting events in our warehouse coming up that will help ladies who might have lost their professional/business clothing during the storm and our prom dress/tuxedo distribution event is coming up fast as well!

I wish you and your family the warmest of blessings during these challenging times as we continue to clean up and rebuild. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us for assistance or to volunteer as well. And of course, your donations are always welcome and appreciated.

Sincerely,

Brian Hall

We extend our deepest condolences to the family of Jerry Sternberg. Jerry loved his hometown of Asheville and strived to make a difference and better the lives of those living here. He has been a significant supporter of Eblen and many other local charities. We are grateful for his years of partnership.

HELPING OUR COMMUNITY REBUILD

Executive Director, Brian Hall, presented a check for $100,000 to ReGroup WNC's Jon Neumann last month. ReGroup is partnering with builders in Beacon Village to rebuild homes for families in Swannanoa. Our funds will supply electrical and plumbing for three homes in the village.

Eblen also presented two, $50,000 checks to Saint James Episcopal Church

in Black Mountain and Valley Strong earlier this week.
