The heart shines. You can see it better from an angle . . .

Maria coated it with clear nail polish.
The heart and background use the tangle scena. Maria tangled with a brown Sakura® Pigma® Micron 01 and shaded with graphite and a touch of red pencil, and blended with a tortillion. She softened the background with a generous coating of General's® white charcoal pencil. I love how she left a few contrasting bits dark at the edge.
