The Vessels FOAM Turkey Trot

Hello Vessels Families,

The Vessels Elementary PTA is thrilled to announce the launch of our 2025 Annual Turkey Trot Fundraiser!

Our goal this year is $60,000 — and with your help, we know we can do it! 🙌 Last year we raised an incredible amount for our students, and this year we’re aiming even higher. Every donation goes directly toward enriching programs, classroom resources, and unforgettable experiences for our kids.

Check out the graphic below for all the details you need to join in the fun, and click the REGISTER NOW button to create your student’s personal fundraising page.

Please follow these important guidelines when registering your student:

Click the Fundraise button near the top of the page.
Find your student’s team (listed by teacher) and create their profile by entering their name, your email address, and choosing a donation goal.
Check your email for a confirmation, and click on the link within that email to activate your account.
Edit your student’s page to personalize it with the WHAT and WHY that is meaningful for them.
Send their page’s direct link to family and friends! Be sure to share your student’s individual page, not the team page, or your student won’t receive credit towards rewards. PLEASE DO NOT create more than one page for each student. Once you make a page, the URL for that page will be emailed to you. Save that email and refer to it when sharing the URL with family and friends!

Friends of Vessels

At Vessels Elementary, we are fortunate to have both the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the Friends of Vessels (FOV) 501(c)(3) nonprofit working together to support our students.

The PTA offers programs and opportunities that benefit all students, including field trips, assemblies, and school-wide events. Because the PTA’s mission is to serve every child, funds raised through membership dues and events are used to support experiences that reach the entire student body.

The Friends of Vessels (FOV), our school-based 501(c)(3) organization, helps “fill the gaps” by funding items and experiences that the PTA cannot cover. This includes grade-level or program-specific needs, such as classroom materials, enrichment opportunities, and special projects.

Because FOV is a nonprofit, donations are tax-deductible, and the group can also apply for grants and business partnerships to bring even more resources to Vessels.

Together, the PTA and Friends of Vessels make a powerful team: the PTA ensures all students benefit, while FOV provides flexibility to support grade-level and classroom-specific needs directly.

We are in the process of planning events and would appreciate your assistance in getting this worthy cause up and running. We already have a dedicated team at work, but we would like you to make it the best year ever! Please use the button below to sign up and be a part of something truly special!
