Rumours (Fleetwood Mac Tribute) 7:30 p.m., Saturday Lakeside welcomes Northeast Ohio’s premier Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Rumours , to the Steele Memorial Bandstand. Becky Boyd & The Groove Train 6 p.m., Sunday Sunday's evening music features Becky Boyd & The Groove Train at the Steele Memorial Bandstand. The band performs a blend of blues, jazz and rock.. Adelee & Gentry 7:30 p.m., Friday Performing a polished folk-pop sound, Adelee & Gentry are self-taught singers that captivate audiences with their two-part harmony and unique sound.

Lakeside Heritage Society Jewelry Sale 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday The Lakeside Heritage Society will be selling jewelry and miscellaneous gift item s from The Shade Tree store that closed last fall at the South Auditorium East Wing. Military Appreciation Day 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday Those who are honorably discharged, retired from, or are currently serving in any branch of the military, will be granted a free one-day Admission and Auto Pass to Lakeside . Religious Life Seminar 3 p.m. Wednesday Join L. Daniel Hawk for a new look at the way the biblical story challenges Christian readers to respond to the problem of violence in our times on Zoom. Dockside Worship 8:30 a.m. Sunday This Informal worship service (now at the Steele Memorial Bandstand) includes Christian hymns and contemporary songs, an inspiring message and the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Farmers' Market 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Tuesday & Friday The bi-weekly Farmers' Market has relocated to the greenspace around the Lakeside Schoolhouse to practice safe social distancing. View hours and safety protocols. Picnic in Perry Park 5:30 p.m. Wednesday For at least 20 years, Wednesday evenings have been an exciting day at Lakeside with a special family picnic . This summer’s event will have a few new twists. RSVP to this week's picnic .

Faith for Living Hour Monday-Thursday This program will be held onsite in Chautauqua Hall and virtually. The Rev. Magrey R. deVega’s theme for the week is “God’s Power to Heal a Broken World.” Rhein Center Classes Monday-Friday Classes in the fine arts, practical arts and creative arts will be held under the Rhein Center's outdoor tents and virtually. Lakeside UMC Service Sunday The Lakeside United Methodist Church (UMC) will post a pre-recorded video of its worship service at lakesideohumc.com so that all may join in worship from their homes. Services are saved for four weeks. Livestream Community Worship Service 10:30 a.m. Sunday Lakeside Chautauqua welcomes the Rev. Chautauqua Lecture Series Monday-Thursday Participate in our Writing Workshop focused on Memoirs & Family History led by Nike Mendenhall. The American Chautauqua Movement 3:30 p.m., Wednesday This program discusses the evolution of the Chautauqua Movement since it's development in the late 1800s. Lakeside Virtual Art Show: June 23-July 25 View the 64th Annual Lakeside Art Show virtual gallery featuring a variety of two-dimensional artwork created by artists of all ages. Lakeside Laundromat re-opens Lakeside Chautauqua is pleased to announce the re-opening of the Lakeside Laundromat under the new management of Jennifer and Ben Linville, and Sarah and Dan Rinaldo. Learn more about their new business. Ward Catering offers weekly to-go meals Ward Catering  offers a fresh menu of pre-ordered to-go meals every Thursday. Pre-order by 4 p.m. Wednesday. All meals are individually packaged as “heat-and-eat” refrigerated boxes. Limited quantities available. Author Visit: L. Daniel Hawk 1:30 p.m. Monday Lakeside welcomes L. Daniel Hawk for an Author Visit held on Zoom, an online conferencing service. Hawk has published widely in academic and popular venues. Zoom link will be available on our website.

Sunset Vespers 8:30 p.m. Sunday This evening service has relocated to the Steele Memorial Bandstand to practice safe social distancing. Features praise music and traditional hymns with John and Bonnie Wilkie. "Space Jam" (PG) 9:30 p.m. Monday “Space Jam” (PG) will be featured at Chautauqua Park (upper level). Guests must bring their own chairs and/or blankets. In the case of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled. Fitness Classes: Monday-Thursday A variety of fitness classes are offered this summer: All Stages/All Ages PoundFit, All Level Yoga, Interval Training and Step Aerobics. Family Night in the Park: Magician Michael Mage 7:30 p.m., Wednesday Michael Mage returns to Lakeside for an evening of magic and illusion. While some seating is provided in Bettinger Park, guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets and to practice safe social distancing.

Just for KIDS!

Storybook Walk Monday & Friday Families can exercise body and mind as they follow a path through Cherry Park where pages from a hand-picked storybook will be posted at stations along the way. New story every week. MGM Monday-Friday Participants will discover the relevance of God in their lives, enjoy music, meet new friends and compete for candy in games and activities. Coordinated by John and Bonnie Wilkie. God Squad Tuesday-Thursday This popular children's event features live music with interactive lessons and a fun craft. Coordinated by Chip Richter. Two sessions for different age groups: ages 4-6 and 7-9 .

Children's Church Celebration 9:30 a.m., Outside Bradley Temple A Children's Church Celebration will begin with an outdoor processional at the conclusion of the Dockside Worship Service (approximately 9:30 a.m. at the Steele Memorial Bandstand) and proceed down Kenton Row and Cedar Avenue to Bradley Temple. The event will end by 10:15 a.m.
