Although the beloved Lakeside Symphony Orchestra (LSO) season has been postponed until 2021, classical music will be heard from the Steele Memorial Bandstand this summer. The LSO Chamber Music Series will feature four concerts at 7:30 p.m. between July 29 and August 7.

Colin Davin
returns for a solo classical guitar concert. Lakesiders may recognize him from his guitar solo with the LSO last summer.

The Braid Quintet
7:30 p.m., Friday
The quintet
will play Sonata No. 3 by Rossini and a John Williams trilogy, including music from "Jurassic Park," "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Star Wars."

Mouse Island Sailing Race
8 a.m., Saturday
All participants are to register at 8 a.m. at the Lakeside Sailing Center.
The race
starts at 9 a.m. and is approximately two-three hours. There is no cost to participate.

Island Song Trio

The music of the
Island Song Trio
will be featured at the Pavilion during the Craft & Art Show. The Island Song Trio features local musicians John Davenport, David Altman and Tim Barrett.

Laura Camara
is perhaps most known for her powerful voice, musical versatility and innovative improvisation.

Long Time Gone
features the music of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young. The group personifies the sound and feel of an era in American music that may never be seen again.

This virtual lecture with
Sarah Marsom
explores how both the well-known and hidden histories of former segregated communities can be preserved today.

Children's Church Celebration
begins with an outdoor processional at the conclusion of the Dockside Worship Service (approximately 9:30 a.m. at the Steele Memorial Bandstand) and proceed down Kenton Row and Cedar Ave. to Bradley Temple. The event will end by 10:15 a.m.
