Hello, friend and supporter of Our Family Coalition!

Happy Coming Out Day! And happy fall.

We've got a lot going on, and will be popping our Fall newsletter in the mail soon. But I couldn't wait to give you a sneak peek: Our Family Coalition Newsletter: Fall 2019 [opens PDF].

This issue includes:

  • an opportunity to get to know new staff, with a piece from me and from our new East Bay Programs Coordinator, Bryce Celotto;
  • an update on our inclusive education training work from Education Director Rick Oculto;
  • a jam-packed Fall events calendar; and
  • a few great picture book suggestions in the Book Corner– titles that help PreK-and early grade kids develop understanding and language around gender diversity.

I've had a chance to meet many of you since I joined OFC this past July. But I haven’t met nearly as many of you as I'd like! So I want to remind you of our Fall Social, happening next week at Virgil's (reminder: it's aged 21 & over, and alas, we're not able to offer childcare on this one).

If you can, please come and tell me all about what this organization has meant to your family and how we can keep finding new ways to serve you and yours.
