December 2020
If 2020 was a tree, it would be an ugly, scraggly Christmas Tree!
Center Stage Software holiday hours
The Rockefeller Christmas Tree usually makes people gasp at how tall, magical and luxurious it is. This year, because it's 2020, the wood-be (sorry) jewel of a tree showed up in New York City looking as scraggly as Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree.

A lot of people think it is the perfect representation of a year we all are anxious to leave behind. But since it's 2020, the internet is skewering it (sorry again) by having some fun.

Here's some of the humor inspired by this pathetic tree:

  • Charlie Brown: "I have the saddest Christmas Tree."
Rockefeller Center: "Hold my beer."
  • In true 2020 form, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree looks like it tried to cut its own hair.
  • The 2020 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree looks like one of those really old tree people in “Lord of the Rings” that just wanders off into the forest to die.
  • The tree: “Like all of us, I’m just doing the best I can in these trying times."

Then a Christmas miracle happened!
A tiny owl was rescued from those scraggly branches
after a 200 mile journey.
The brown and white speckled owl was discovered clinging to the 75-foot-tall spruce after the tree was trucked into Manhattan.

After some TLC, the battered bird survived, and was well enough to be taken back to its home and resume its life.

Like us, we bet you might feel a bit like the owl this year. We're bewildered, shaken, and a bit bashed up by being caught in the prickly branches of 2020 for so long.

But like the owl, we're also scrappy, tough, and resilient!

Wishing you peace, health, safety and hope this holiday season and a wonderful, social, and prosperous New Year!

We have a lot of preparing to do before we get to the New Year. 2021 is going to be a year of rapid changes for all of us as we begin to heal and make our way back to some sort of normalcy with the help of new treatments and vaccines.

We will be available for emergencies!
An emergency means:

  • You cannot access Wintix
  • Your Webtix online ticketing site is down
  • You can't scan tickets
