Some highlights of you've helped in 2021:

Over 100 people attended the December launch event for our FairCapacity platform in India, which included speaker discussions and a live demonstration of the FairCapacity platform’s capabilities. A launch event for Bangladesh is scheduled for January 10.

Over 2 million workers have been impacted at 4,778 SA8000 certified facilities across 57 countries and industries. SAI is partnering with WRAP and other standard organizations to conduct worker voice surveys throughout our system, reaching over 2,100 workers to date.

Palma Futuro reached 36 communities this year, through events and 15 community circles.

The Anker Research Institute now has released 65 living wage and income estimates across 42 countries. It launched its Living Wage Corporate Sponsors program to secure sustainable support for its high-quality public research.

Over 7,500 workers have been impacted at 4 factories during the TenSquared project in China, our innovative, 100-day change management challenge to improve social performance management systems and relations between workers and management.

Waste collectors in the Inclusive Waste Recycling Consortium (iWrc) recycled 110 tons of e-waste and sold 19 tons of PET this year, 12 coops have gone through Social Fingerprint training, and over 200 workers have participated in WhatsApp micro-trainings that promote health, safety, and economic empowerment. iWrc was also recognized with the iImpact label, a seal, sponsored by Innovation LATAM and FDC, which measures the impact of startups across Latin America according to the SDGs.

Vizhuthugal, a small nonprofit in Tiruppur, India, was able to deliver services, health screenings, trainings, and direct relief to more than 2,000 vulnerable migrant workers and impacted thousands more, with support from SAI’s COVID relief fund.
