VILLAGE NEWS & NOTICES

A HOLIDAY MESSAGE FROM MAYOR STUESSI

As the holiday season is upon us, our beautiful community shines ever so more brightly. Our streets are decorated and warm lights are glowing from neighbors’ homes, together with the joy, still in the air, from our recent tree lighting festival and fire department parade. One of the highlights of our year is seeing our village come together under the tree, all enjoying the songs of local students.

Whether you are celebrating traditions old or new, I hope you find moments of peace, laughter and gratitude in the days ahead. Many of us are also remembering those we have lost, and while this can make the holidays tough, I know, with support from good neighbors and friends, we can remember the happier times together. As a community we always come together to help each other.

Thank you to all our dedicated volunteers, staff, local businesses and residents who make our village such a welcoming place; especially during this magic time of year. And a special thanks to our volunteer fire and rescue squads who keep us safe together with our police department. Generosity and togetherness defines our village, and moves us forward while reflecting on our past.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a bright and healthy new year!
