I have been high on life. I pinch myself to realize I'm not dreaming. I wake up every morning with my Goji Lemon Detox Tea, read A Course in Miracles, turn off all distractions, and proceed into 30-40 minutes of meditation and prayer.

Meditation has profoundly changed lives over the course of generations across different cultures around the world. It's-no-secret. Operating through California State University Northridge’s (CSUN) Michael D. Eisner College of Education, Strength United provides an approach to ending abuse and violence through the collaboration of mental health professionals, educators, researchers, students and volunteers. I will be training the staff upon the SLS curriculum to prepare for the 2017 Los Angeles marathon. It is an honor to be a part of this special organization and to work with Gail Hynick. Serves: 4-6 

- 4 ripe bananas 
- 1/3 cup coconut nectar (can also substitute with raw honey)
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch of sea salt
- Fresh fruit and chopped nuts and/or seeds to garnish: strawberries, pistachios, almonds, hemp seeds, shredded coconut 

1. In high speed blender blend the avocado until smooth. Add rest of ingredients until all mixed together.
2. Chill in the fridge for few hours or 1/2 hour in the freezer.
3. Decorate with fruit, nuts, and seeds as superfood add-ons.

This meditation is brought to you from a course in miracles. A Course in Miracles is a self-study psychological training in the relinquishment of a thought system based on fear and the acceptance instead of a thought system based on love. Practice this mantra every morning for the next 30 days. Say it quietly or aloud, whatever makes you most comfortable. Practice intention and remember that practice makes perfect. This mantra helped me tremendously as patience is something I've been trying to practice for many years.
