SPARK fall season premieres

Producer and host Amanda Rafuse kicks off CATV original local arts & culture series SPARK with Claremont native Melissa Richmond. Founder of the West Claremont Center for Music and the Arts, Richmond is committed to dismantling barriers and providing opportunities for all to enjoy the mental, physical, and social benefits of participation in the arts. Presidential Retrospective on CATV Government Channel

Dial back the clock to 2019-20 on CATV Government Channel (1085 Comcast/170 and 1170 VTel) now through Nov. 2 to a marathon presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren, Bill Weld, Cory Booker, Bernie Sanders, Tulsi Gabbard, Joe Biden, Beto O'Rourke, Donald Trump, and others visiting our region on the campaign trail and participating in panels at Dartmouth's Rockefeller Center, Hanover Rotary, and other local stops.

Government Meetings on CATV On-Demand

Did you know that CATV staff add "chapters" to public meeting recordings to help the public find agenda items of interest? This service is available for most CATV-covered public meetings (Hartford, Hartland, Norwich, VT, Hanover, NH and SAU88 in Lebanon, NH) via CATV On-Demand.

CATV Fall Media Labs:Digital Narrative  

Wednesday, Nov. 3

6-9pm at CATV in the HACTC

Norwich digital media artist Leander White earned his BFA in Communication Design at Pratt Institute where he focused on branding, studio photography, motion design, and an advertising. He invites you to join this choose your point of influence: a brand, song, picture, feeling, story to develop your digital narrative. Learn how to express your digital identity – be it your small business, artistic practice, or rock band – across platforms. Participants define the process in this hands-on workshop using Adobe Creative Cloud digital media tools.

Welcoming Afghan Refugees

Governor Phil Scott announced last month that the state will welcome 100 Afghans. What does it mean to invite new community members to the Green Mountain State? And are Vermont communities as open as they believe they are? UVM Associate Professor Pablo Bose joins host Olga Peters with State Rep. Emilie Kornheiser on Montpelier Happy Hour from Brattleboro Community TV.
