Clean Vessel Act Grant Application Pause

Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has put a temporary pause on accepting new Clean Vessel Act (CVA) grant applications. This pause is expected to remain in effect until December 1, 2025. During this time applicants may continue to prepare and submit draft CVA grant application packages for completeness, but no processing will occur until after December 1, 2025.

DEP staff will continue to accept and process progress reports, gallon reports, reimbursement requests, and other documentation for active grant reimbursements.

This temporary pause is to allow DEP to

  • transition to a new grant processing system,
  • update agreement and reimbursement documentation, and
  • enhance their program website for better access to application resources, guidance and reporting tools.

Broken Pumpout? Who to call?

Your pumpout breaks down and you call your local plumber or electrician to get it fixed, only to find out they're unwilling or unable to work on the equipment. Many plumbers and electricians are not familiar with pumpout equipment. So, what do you do now? How do you get your pumpout operational again?

We have compiled a list of contractors that are able and willing to work on pumpouts. Check out the list here. Please note, the listing of contractors does not imply endorsement or recommendation by the University of Florida. The University provides this information as a public service and makes no guarantees about the quality or suitability of any contractor’s services.
