Harbor Revitalization Agreement Reached
The County of Orange and Dana Point Harbor Partners have reached agreement on terms for the Dana Point Harbor Revitalization Plan.

To be clear, the deal isn't officially done. It still requires careful review by stakeholders, including your DPBA, as well as approval by the OC Board of Supervisors. But after eight months of formidable negotiations since DPHP was selected by the County last October, the parties have (mostly) closed the divide and are preparing to advance their proposed agreement to the Board of Supervisors for approval. We expect this to take place at the July 17 Board of Supervisors meeting.

[ If you are new to this discussion, you can catch up here, here and here.]

In a related development, the June 25th Dana Point Harbor Advisory Board meeting has been rescheduled to July 2, 5:00pm, to facilitate a discussion on these developments. Representatives from the 5th District Supervisor's office and the County executive team will be present to share information on the latest developments and preview next steps. This meeting will be held in Samueli Hall at the Ocean Institute. For the latest information, visit the DPHAB meeting page here.

This is a rapidly developing story. Please stay tuned for more information and do plan to attend the meeting.

Every dollar we receive is directed to protecting and advancing the Dana Point Harbor boating community. What we do doesn't cost much, but it isn't free. Our community has proven dedicated and supportive over the years; now we offer a gift in return for your generosity.

All donations of $10 or more will receive a bumper sticker. Donations of $50 will receive a choice of a hat or burgee, plus a bumper sticker. Donations of $100 will receive a hat, burgee and two bumper stickers.  If you can spare $10, $25, $50 or $100 to the cause, it goes a long way to keeping us on track, please click here to donate!  Thank you.
