County/DPHP Respond to Community Comments

The County and their development partner - Dana Point Harbor Partners - have issued a response to comments on the Harbor Revitalization plans submitted by the Dana Point Harbor Advisory Board on behalf of our harbor community. Many of these comments were submitted by the Boaters Association. The County and DPHP have also released another set of planning documents, including their overall finance and budget plans, and additional documents on the dry boat storage facility.

To view the response to comments and additional planning documents, refer to the news brief released by DPHAB here.

Reminder: Community Forum on Harbor Revitalization

Also, DPHAB is hosting a third public forum on the Harbor Revitalization Project this evening, Monday, October 22, 5:00pm, at the Ocean Institute. Come hear the latest news on the plans to rebuild our harbor by the team chosen to do it all.

Stay Tuned...

...as your Boaters Association continues to analyze and respond to the evolving plans to renovate our harbor. We are in the closing days of the County directly managing our Dana Point Harbor, with a 66-year master lease expected to be signed by Dana Point Harbor Partners by the end of the month. However, please know that renovation plans aren't final until work begins; our community will continue to have a voice as planning continues over the comings months and years. We are here for you, so please stay tuned, stay involved and let us know how we're doing.

Thank you

And finally this... Your DPBA leadership team is committed to protecting and advancing the interests of our Dana Point boating community. We are your voice on all matters affecting our harbor. But we only succeed with your support. Your attention, input and moral support most of all. But also financial support. It takes very little to fund what we do, but it's not free. Every dollar counts. If you can spare $5, $20 or $100 to the cause, it goes a long way to keeping us on track, please click here to donate! Thank you.
