Walsh and Tofts teamed up to compete in the Creventic Endurance series in the Porsche Cayman GT4 in 2021, winning the season-long championship.
“I’m excited, along with Cameron and Jacob, to represent Hardpoint in the PCA Pro GT3 Cup Series this season,” Walsh said. “We’re working hard to grow the eSports program alongside the on-track product at Hardpoint, and know we’re in for some stout competition in this league.”
Hardpoint joins rival Porsche Carrera Cup North America teams, celebrity drivers, and eSports professionals in the PCA Pro GT3 Cup Series Championship. In addition to Sebring, the 2022 calendar features double header races at Long Beach, March 31st, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, April 21st, Watkins Glen International, June 16th, Road America, July 28th, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, August 25th, and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, September 22nd.
Each race event features a pair of 40-minute races, mirroring the Carrera Cup North America format, plus practice and qualifying sessions. Each race will be broadcast live through Podium eSports on YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.
Hardpoint’s Happy Hour sessions are available and open each week to all fans on iRacing, as scheduled on Hardpoint's
Instagram and
Facebook pages. No advanced registration is required. Walsh will stream his run and the entire race on Twitch through Hardpoint’s account,
HardpointMotorsports.
