CHAUTAUQUA 2019 LIVING HISTORY PERFORMANCE

This family-friendly event, which is free and open to the public, will feature a portrayal of Jacques Cousteau by Doug Mishler, an independent scholar and veteran Chautauquan. History comes alive as audience members meet historical figures and engage in a thoughtful dialogue with each character. A partnership of HCC, the Harford and Cecil County Public Libraries, Cecil College, and Maryland Humanities brings this annual living history series to the Upper Chesapeake region. Harford to Offer Credit and Noncredit Classes at the Edgewood Public Library

In an effort to make college access easier for those in the eastern part of the county, Harford will offer a select number of credit classes in Business, Psychology, Cyber and English at our Edgewood Library location beginning this fall. In addition, look for Intro to Construction, Job and Career Navigation, and pre-apprenticeship workshops to complement our current offerings of noncredit computer, ESL, and adult literacy courses. Harford's Fighting Owls Excel On and Off the Field

Harford Athletics wrapped up another successful year with its first NJCAA National Championship in the program’s modern era. The Fighting Owls 13 Division I teams also captured six regular season conference championships, seven Region 20 titles, and a District C crown. 14 student-athletes were named All-Americans by either the NJCAA or ITA. Harford carried its success on the field into the classroom as well, with 90 student-athletes earning a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll and 13 boasting a 4.0 GPA in the fall. More info
