Cyber Warriors
A team of HCC students participated in Baltimore Cyber Range Security Operations Center’s Defensive Operations Exercise Scenarios. The daylong exercise included sophisticated defensive operations with simulated real world threats. Each HCC student scored 100% on the incident response operations tasks for each of the two major scenarios. Read their story here .

Enjoy the HCC music faculty’s annual concert in the Chesapeake Theater, then stroll over to the Student Center for Art + Design faculty and staff’s annual art exhibit in the Chesapeake Gallery. POPOVICH COMEDY PET THEATER

The Popovich Comedy Pet Theater is entertainment for the whole family, featuring the unique blend of comedy and juggling skills of former Moscow Circus veteran Gregory Popovich and his amazingly talented pets. The show has traveled to more than 20 countries and is currently in its sixth season in Las Vegas. Part of the BGE Family Series . Tickets

A Unique Experience

Nursing students Stacie Fales, Anne Kibocho, Teresia Muthoga, and Erin Rodriguez accompanied Professor Madelyn Danner to a Remote Area Medical volunteer experience in Gloucester, VA. The clinic provided free dental, vision, and medical care to the uninsured and underinsured in the area. The Harford students served patients of all ages in the dental clinic and triage intake areas, and returned home with a new perspective. Read more.
 
ATHENA Award Breakfast
HCC’s Foundation is honored to host the 2019 ATHENA Leadership Award Breakfast, presented by The Daily Record . An established honor in Harford County, the ATHENA Awards bring important recognition to the strength of female leadership in our community. Food, Farmers, and Community: Opening the Dialogue

Farmers and community members will learn about a variety of topics and discuss issues facing food producers and consumers in Harford County. If you’re a member of a community organization, nonprofit or religious institution, please send an “ambassador” from your group to this important event to educate your organization’s membership on the information learned in the sessions.
