HCC’s Foundation proudly hosts the 2020 ATHENA Leadership Award Breakfast, presented by Harford Mutual Insurance. The ATHENA Leadership Award and ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award are presented to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in their careers and assisted the advancement of women in their professional communities. Event proceeds support the ATHENA Leadership Scholarship, a $1,000 award given to adult students returning to HCC.

Tickets are $40 and include a delicious buffet breakfast and networking prior to the awards.

Kentucky-based professor and artist Garrett Hansen’s photography is inspired by the current relevant issues of gun violence in today's society. His project is composed of bullets that have been collected from gun ranges. The contorted shapes speak to the inherent violence in shooting. Click here for more info.

Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau undertakes a mammoth task: counting all the people residing in the United States. Make sure you’re counted! An accurate snapshot means that communities across the nation receive the funding, services, and business support they deserve and need. Your responses are confidential. To learn more about the importance of the 2020 Census and how to participate , click here.
In March, you can expect to receive an invitation via U.S. mail to participate in the Census. Filling out your Census form can be done by mail, phone or online beginning April 1. Learn more  here .
