Navigating the World of Financial Aid: An Info Session for High School Seniors and Parents
Thursday, September 26
Student Center, Room 243
5:30 p.m. appetizers and welcome
6-7:30 p.m. presentation 

This session will walk students and parents through filling out the FAFSA and obtaining a FAFSA PIN, applying for scholarships, and deadlines. A representative from the Maryland Higher Education Commission will discuss Maryland’s Community College Promise Scholarship and admissions specialists will provide information about applying to college. The musical Into the Woods is a dark comedy about a childless baker, his wife, and their quest to begin a family. On their journey, they meet a witch who places a curse on them. Into the Woods is an epic fairy tale about wishes, family, and the choices we make.

Maryland Humanities annual One Maryland One Book program choice for 2019 is What the Eyes Don’t See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City , by Mona Hanna-Attisha.

New Member Appointed to
HCC Board of Trustees

Steve Linkous, President and CEO of Harford Mutual Insurance Company in Bel Air, was appointed by the Governor to the nine-member Harford Community College Board of Trustees. He was sworn in at the Harford County Courthouse on August 8, 2019. Mr. Linkous will represent Councilmanic District D. Learn more here.
