RED RIBBON WEEK - LIFE IS A PUZZLE, SOLVE IT DRUG FREE OCTOBER 27-31

October 27 to 31 is Red Ribbon Week!


The theme this year is Life is a Puzzle - Solve it Drug-Free!


Red Ribbon week is a nationally recognized program and held throughout our schools. It is an opportunity to support students in making positive decisions and safe choices.


During the week, teachers will facilitate lessons from our district's Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs curriculum - while each day will be a festive spirit day in support of living drug-free.

That’s right, this family-friendly fundraiser will be a night full of tricks, laughs, and community spirit, all in support of Butler Elementary School.

BUTLER SPRING FAIR PLANNING KICKS OFF NEXT MONTH ON NOVEMBER 10!

It’s time to start planning for the March 28th, 2026 Butler Spring Fair, and we are thrilled to be kicking things off! We're aiming to make this year's event the best one yet, and we need your passion, dedication, and great ideas to do it!

Butler Stage and Cafeteria


Butler students and their families can join us on Friday, November 21 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM on the Butler stage and in the cafeteria for the Holiday Shop!


This is an opportunity for students to do their holiday shopping independently and keep their gifts a surprise!


Please note: This is an evening event only.


Flyers will be sent home Wednesday November 12, the week prior to the Holiday Shop.

CONTRIBUTE TO HELP SUPPORT PTO PROGRAMS & EVENTS

PTO events and activities would not be available without our volunteers and the financial contribution by the Butler families. In support of our efforts, we are asking for a $15 contribution per household (Butler Family) as the means to offset the expenses for organizing and holding the events.


For those who wish, you can sponsor another Butler family’s $15 contribution. Payment is preferred through MyPaymentsPlus or submit a check with this form.

My Payments Plus
My Payments Plus is a free, secured, online account which allows you to pay for student fees, field trips, PTO events, summer classes, etc. This is used district-wide, so we encourage all families to register for an account. To sign up, simply visit: MyPaymentsPlus.com and click on “Register a Free Account.” You will need your child's student identification number to set up the account, which can be found in the parent portal.
My School Bucks
My School Bucks is a free, secured online account which allows you to pay for school meals. It allows you to have a digital option for lunches (no cards – the cafeteria staff look up the child’s name at the register) as well as see what items your child is purchasing in the cafeteria. To access My School Bucks, please visit MySchoolBucks.com. You will need your child's student identification number to set up the account, which can be found in the parent portal.

YOU MUST HAVE CLEARANCES TO VOLUNTEER

In order to volunteer in the classroom, you must have current volunteer clearances through CBSD. Questions? Contact Michelle Droxler.


The process is EASY and all done online using Raptor Volunteer Safe. Every CB volunteer will need to register and upload their clearances.


Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. Click here for the required clearances, along with links to the state’s websites.
