Film Screening: "Determined"

Available Virtually: November 29th - December 7th

Panel Discussion: Tuesday, December 5th, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

"Determined" is a powerful documentary that unravels the extraordinary story of Holocaust survivor Avraham Perlmutter, father of Keren Perlmutter. The film details the harrowing experiences of Avraham, who, during World War II, was sheltered by a Catholic Dutch family, the Beijers, ultimately saving him from the clutches of Hitler and the Nazis.

Join us for a thought-provoking exploration of resilience, human kindness, and the unconquerable spirit that can prevail even in the darkest hours. This interfaith narrative exemplifies the remarkable achievements made possible through relentless perseverance, providing a testament to the enduring strength of the human spirit.

We are honored to have descendants of the Beijer family, who played a pivotal role in Avraham's story, joining us from the Netherlands for the panel discussion. Their accounts will provide unique insights into the interfaith aspects of this extraordinary tale.
