A Message from the Interim Superintendent
|
Thank you, parents, for trusting us with your children’s education
Today, I am full of gratitude for having the good fortune to work with such wonderful parents, students, faculty and staff at Harmony schools. We just received information on student applications for the 2018-19 school year, and the numbers are astonishing!
For the 10 campuses in the Harmony-South Houston schools, we have received 10,150 applications. Overall, Harmony public schools in Texas have received more than 30,000 applications for next year. The reason for this is simple – people are hearing the good news about Harmony schools and how their students are performing better and are well-prepared for the future.
On behalf of Harmony, I want to thank those 30,000-plus parents for applying to our schools. Our focus is, and always will be, to do our best to prepare every child to have a meaningful career and to become a model citizen. We do that by hiring dedicated faculty and staff and ensuring they work closely with our parents to provide the best education possible in a safe, nurturing environment.
Again, I am filled with gratitude to know that so many Texas parents trust Harmony schools to make that dream a reality for their children.
E. Tevfik Eski, Ph.D.
Interim Superintendent
HPS-Houston South
