Community members gathered to celebrate the opening and ribbon-cutting of the new Hart County Schools Bus Garage on January 5th. The new garage is located at 25 Quality Street, next to the Board of Education. It offers larger bays for more efficient maintenance, new safety stations such as an eye-washing station, a shower, and an exhaust evacuation system. The new garage also includes an updated training room, an active board, monitored building entrances where individuals have to be allowed inside, and larger office areas.

"The transportation department is very happy and satisfied with the improved working conditions and safety features provided through the new facility. We are very proud of the new garage and are very thankful for all the support from the community." - Bo Chenoweth, Superintendent
