Dear Hart Families,

We are looking forward to having many of our Leopards return for On-Campus Learning on September 8th! Join us this Thursday, September 3rd, from 5-6 pm as Dr. Goddard and the Campus Principals answer questions from our community regarding On-Campus Learning! Click here to submit your question for the webinar by 8 pm, Wednesday, September 2nd!  This will be in place of the meeting I had scheduled at 3:00pm on Thursday.

The PowerSchool ParentPortal is now open for you to complete the online Enrollment & Student Information Forms. Please click here to access the Parent Portal. Parents will access the enrollment forms in their PowerSchool Parent Portal - left navigation panel - "Enrollment & Student Forms." Completion of these forms is required every year for every student. Please take a few minutes to update your contact information and other forms.

IMPORTANT!!!!! The last day for medication drop off is, tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Drop off will take place curbside at the front entrance of Hart. See more information below from Nurse Allie.

Many of you have asked how you can best support the Hart and our fabulous staff. I encourage you to join our PTO! I appreciate how hard they have worked to continue some of their great programs for our students virtually as we navigate this school year, including Art Sparks, Dennis Lee Assembly, and our Author's visit. They also do so much to support and love on the entire Hart staff. Be sure to check out the most current PTO information below!

Each year a new Hart News Broadcast trailer is created to show every morning before announcements. This is a chance for Hart students to show their smile, thumbs up, or a wave! We need a 3-5 second video clip of you and/or any other Hart students (only those attending this year, virtual or in person!) that are in your family, or your group of Hart friends. WHEN RECORDING, HOLD YOUR CAMERA ON ITS SIDE, not up and down. Kind gestures only, no voice needed. Have fun!!!

Medication Drop Off

*** IMPORTANT!!!!! The last day for medication drop off is Wednesday, September 2 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Drop off will take place curbside at the front entrance of Hart.***

If your student has a prescription or over the counter medication that needs to be kept in the clinic during face to face instruction, there will be a designated time and date to get those dropped off at school.
The Medication, Emergency Action Plan (anaphylaxis/allergy), and the Asthma Action Plan forms can all be found here. Some of these forms must be signed by the child's physician as well as the parent, so you will need to fill these out ahead of time.
All medications must be in their original packaging (NO ziplock baggies) and not expired.
Prescription medications must have the proper label on the bottle or packaging and will have to be counted with the parent dropping the medication off.

Please make sure you have provided the school with an up to date immunization form for your children. Please follow up with your child’s health care provider to make sure your child meets public school immunization requirements which can be found here.

My contact email is allison_wright@lovejoyisd.net if you have any further questions.

Thank you!
Please remember to submit your first day of school pictures and district theme day photos to YearbookHart@gmail.com. We love to see all the photos you send in. We will use the photos in the 2020-2021 HES Yearbook. Thank you!
It is with pleasure that we welcome you back to school! Although this year is not what we would consider normal, our Hart campus is full of the BEST teachers and staff, ready and SO excited to have kids back in the building! We are striving to be a pillar of light and love for the community this year. It is more important than ever for us to lean on, encourage, give grace, and love one another during these uncertain times.

On behalf of the Hart PTO, I would like to thank you in advance for your continued support of our organization and programming we provide for all students. Please take a moment to read the listed information below. I wish each of you a healthy and wonderful year! Never hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.
