Becoming a Networked Nonprofit
Networked Nonprofits and the people who lead them are taking advantage of social media's ability to expand impact by connecting and building trust with people in their networks. This way of operating goes beyond simply using Facebook or Twitter, and requires a networked mindset where openness and authenticity are essential. Through this workshop you will gain an overview of future digital trends and what they mean for your communications strategy; understand how you can advance your nonprofit's mission, programs, and communications goals; assess your nonprofit in becoming a networked nonprofit; learn how to lead with a networked mindset; and learn the best practices of setting up an effective brand ambassadors strategy on social media using staff, board, and senior leaders.

NSP Responds to Community Need with Support for Leadership Development Roundtable

Third Sector New England's recent study of nonprofit leadership, Essential Shifts for a Thriving Nonprofit Sector, highlighted the retirement of Baby Boomer executive directors and the need to support new, emerging leaders. As a result, NSP is supporting the Hartford-area cohort of the Leadership Development Roundtable (LDR), a unique and highly rated program aimed at supporting the development of emerging leaders in the nonprofit sector.
