Mourning the Passing of Our Friend and Colleague, Sharon O'Meara

We at the Nonprofit Support Program are deeply saddened by the passing of Sharon O'Meara, the Hartford Foundation's Director of Community Investments. In her 20 years at the Foundation, Sharon embodied the mission and values of this organization, and her legacy can be seen throughout our community. She was a true champion for nonprofits, large and small. We will miss Sharon's passion, her intellect, her quick wit, her innovative approach, and especially her knack of bringing a sense of warmth and camaraderie to all she did. The outpouring of gratitude and appreciation for Sharon from friends and colleagues around the state and beyond, has touched us all very deeply.
