You may be getting flooded with news, emails, phone calls and even virtual meetings due to this uncertain time of the coronavirus. We understand the impact of COVID-19 on our local business community and the challenges this poses for you. Rest assure we are committed to stimulating the local economy through creative measures; programs, services, promoting business activities and most of all providing vital resources. Our advocacy continues by building positive relationships with local, state, and federal officials to promote a pro-business climate.

I hope you continue to support local businesses by picking up, delivery, or even just a phone call.

Please know we are here for you to help you navigate during this time. We will continuously provide information, resources and opportunities. Be sure to follow our Facebook page and visit our website too.

Please join Marcia  Gebarowski Director of  B usiness Development -Livingston, Ann Arbor SPARK  and Marty Smith, Senior Vice President, First National Bank in Howell for an informational webinar on how to navigate through the  SBA  EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loan),  and recent Michigan Small Business Relief Program , and other SBA financing tools available to businesses. Gain recent updates and valuable insight to the application process. There will also be time for Q&A.

Governor Whitmer is issuing temporary unemployment insurance (UI) rules to help businesses manage through the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

  • Senior Community Liaisons (formerly Resource Advocates) are still providing services to all seniors over the phone (in person only if necessary to obtain signatures/proofs for applications for essential services i.e. health care coverage / food support; delivery of essential items).  Much can be done over the phone to assist.
