The Fellowship in Bioethics is a one-year, part-time academic certificate program designed for those with a serious interest in bioethics and who wish to further their knowledge of the history, philosophical underpinnings, and contemporary practice of bioethics.

part-time lecturers in bioethics. We welcome candidates with education and experience researching, teaching, and working in applied bioethics related to medicine, health care, and the biosciences.

- Faculty member J. Wesley Boyd coauthored an article addressing the availability of buprenorphine treatment in states with the highest drug overdose death rates in the United States in the latest issue of the Journal of Psychiatric Practice.
- The Hastings Center announced the election of 12 new Hastings Center Fellows — individuals of outstanding accomplishment whose work has informed scholarship and public understanding of complex ethical issues in health, health care, science, and technology. Center Executive Director Christine Mitchell is a 2020 fellow.
- Fellowship alum Lisa Moses weighed in on NPR about the growing trend of DNA testing for pets.
- Nurse scientist and clinical ethicist Aimee Milliken—who teaches Introduction to Clinical Ethics at the Center—participated in this Q&A with Brigham and Women's Hospital.
