TBA's “Harvest Against Hunger” Food Drive Campaign is one of the year's most important Tikkun Olam events. Last year, TBA's efforts were so successful that we earned the coveted All Star Community Award by contributing more to Manna than other area congregations.

This year, we are competing against Adat Shalom to provide the most food to Manna during the High Holy Day season.
Due to the pandemic's economic impact, Manna has served 32% more households compared to last year, and they anticipate another significant increase in the year ahead as mortgage and rental abatement programs end and evictions and foreclosures inevitably increase.

You can help TBA keep this coveted trophy AND help Manna meet the growing needs of our hungry neighbors by:

  • Bringing these nonperishable foods to TBA and help fill the bins Manna will place in front of our building. Every pound of food you donate will be tabulated, so shop generously and fill those bins!

  • Making a financial donation to Manna on a special webpage for TBA members. (For the purposes of this competition, Manna will convert your monetary contributions to the equivalent pounds of food.)

Do a mitzvah today by helping our neighbors in need AND
by ensuring Rabbi Pokras can keep his favorite trophy!
