The 14th annual OYE Latinx Youth Conference will be on Saturday, March 28th. The conference features local performances, workshops, free food, and resource tables in a celebration of resilience.

Meet the artist and hear the stories of the farmworkers featured in the exhibition.Beginning in March, the community is invited to attend the Parenting Neurodiverse Kids Speaker Series. This multi‑session series, held in Redwood City and San Mateo, provides parents and caregivers with thoughtful, practical support for raising and advocating for neurodiverse children. Led by nationally recognized experts, each session is designed to equip families with tools to better support their children.

The City of Redwood City’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is looking for Teen Program/Camp Leaders, Assistant Camp Directors, Camp Directors who are interested in working 25-40 hours per week during the summer, planning, organizing, and conducting basic recreation activities in a variety of settings selected by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department.

Licensed family childcare providers in San Mateo County can apply for the Growing at Home Grant, offering up to $1,000 to support business growth. Participants receive specialized business training and one-on-one consulting tailored to family childcare providers. Those who complete required training and consulting hours become eligible to apply for the grant. This program is designed to help providers strengthen, sustain, and grow their childcare businesses.

This free, CHP-led 2-hour class helps new and soon-to-be drivers understand the risks and responsibilities of the road. Held on the second Thursday of every month, the Start Smart program gives teens and their families practical tools to stay safe behind the wheel. RSVP is required.
