This is an entry level technical position on IBM's Corporate Environmental Affairs staff. You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing environmental laws and regulations in the U.S. and Canada and helping to assess their potential impact upon IBM. You will work with other subject matter experts on the corporate staff and within IBM business units to effectively communicate and advocate IBM positions while also helping IBM business units develop compliance processes. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science is required. Master's Degree in Engineering or Science or an MBA Degree is preferred.

They are looking for a Senior Manager for Corporate EHSS who will be responsible for providing strategic oversight in the development, implementation and management of all Carus Group EHSS corporate policies and standards. The position is accountable for recommending appropriate EHSS goals and budgets along with appropriate metrics associated with monitoring performance across Carus Group. The ideal candidate will champion the PSM policies and provide training at all levels of the organization to encourage employee participation and culture change as it relates to process safety and be responsible for directing, executing and/or supervising safety and health programs at Carus Group locations utilizing an engaging behavioral based approach. BS in engineering, preferably chemical, environmental or mechanical, is required along with 10 or more years of experience in a chemical/petrochemical setting with at least 5 years overseeing multiple locations.

You will work to build partnership and engagement throughout the CITGO HSSE environmental organizations and review candidates to fill vacancies, conducts performance reviews and provides input for salary increases and bonus payments. In depth knowledge of environmental affairs required along with a background in science or engineering. The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is ten plus.

The responsibilities for EHS Director are ensuring projects are being performed in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations governing the work we are performing, maintaining required compliance records for audits and ensuring projects are being performed in accordance with Client rules and regulations. You will also maintain client policy and procedure training requirements and ensure projects are being performed in accordance with Frontier Corporate Safety Management Plant. The ideal candidate will reside in either the Western New York or Gulf Region of the United States and be open and free to travel at least 75% of the time. A strong background in industrial demolition, oil & gas, construction or heavy manufacturing and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a management level EHS role is required. A BS degree in a related field and CSST certification is required.
