AfA needs your opinion on what we should do now
Good evening,
On April 3rd, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed the House of Representatives by a voice vote and the President then signed the bill into law. The bill builds upon earlier versions of the CARES Act and is intended to be a third round of federal government support in the wake of the coronavirus public health crisis and associated economic fallout. It is the product of negotiations between Democrats and Republicans for a bipartisan response to the crisis.
Now more than ever, the Airforwarders Association continues to be in close touch with our members so that we can keep you informed and advocating for your interests here in Washington on Capitol Hill and throughout the regulatory agencies. Our frequent surveys enable us to engage you more effectively and we are thankful for your past participation.
Today we want to know if your company has applied for any of the financial assistance programs of the CARES Act and if so, what the experience was like and advice on how we should proceed in our advocacy efforts.
