Why Singapore Math? - Part 1
My dream as a math educator is to let my students feel that they can be successful at anything if they put their mind to it, and it is my job to guide them along the way. Every day I ask myself: “How can I teach students beyond their comfort zone while maintaining their motivation?” After years of experience, I discovered that one of the most important factors is flexibility. The missing piece was a math program to help me be flexible in my teaching. After arriving at Yavneh, I found the key: Singapore Math.
