Friday's at 2:30pm
Despite our physical distance we can still be close in spirit and celebration. Join your Yavneh community every Friday at 2:30pm to close the week with a Kabbalat Shabbat Celebration. We will be live streaming Kabbalat Shabbat on the Yavneh Day School Facebook page.
Students in Action
The Yavneh Day School Community is stronger than ever. Everyone was so happy to see each other yesterday for our first day of Virtual Learning Classrooms. The morning consisted of siach, songs, Hebrew, read alouds, small group breakout sessions, sharing reflections and learning spaces, and getting used to our virtual learning tools.
On Tuesday, the 2022 Yavneh Blaze team met virtually to finish the final details to submit for the final round of the World League Robotics Competition. Students and teacher collaborated by using a whiteboard where every team member wrote their ideas! Nothing will stop this team from participating in this competition. Go Blaze!
Kitah Alef Te'nna students worked on at home projects to find flowers outside that represent emotions. Students drew pictures of the flowers and emotions.
Gan Rimon students engaged in Virtual Learning by collecting and counting all of the "Blue" items in their homes.
Gimel Dvash students completed a measurement challenge and wrote their own word problems to share in their Virtual Learning Classrooms.
Teachers in Action
Yavneh's incredible and innovative team of Teachers met on Monday and Tuesday to plan Virtual Learning Classrooms for our students. Here they are singing the school song.
