New Home Construction on the Horizon

New Home Construction Heats Up in Hastings

New home construction is heating up in Hastings this spring and summer with the following housing developments getting started:

  • Creative Home Construction Investments LLC plans to develop 36 homes as part of the Heritage Ridge 4th Addition, to be located west of General Sieben Drive and Northridge Drive. The plans also include pedestrian crosswalk improvements at the intersection of General Sieben Drive and Northridge Drive as well as General Sieben Drive and Fallbrooke.
  • Construction of the first four of 35 single-family homes has begun at the South Oaks 4th Addition, located southwest of 31st and Century Drive.
  • Walden at Hastings, located near Highway 316 and Tuttle Drive, was recently sold to a new property owner. Conceptual plans indicate development of 186 single-family, villa and townhome sites.
  • Tradition Development is planning 375 home sites to be located between Featherstone Road and County Road 42, at the Pleasant Family Farm site.
