Winter Weather Responsibilities

Help Keep our Community Safe Following a Snowfall

  • A snow emergency is automatically in effect when 2 inches of snow have accumulated. Vehicles must be moved off the street, so plows can get through.
  • Shovel your sidewalks within 48 hours. To report sidewalks, contact the Code Enforcement Officer at 651-480-2376.
  • Shovel three feet around the nearest fire hydrant to help our firefighters. Be a hydrant hero and possibly win a gift card drawing!
  • Slow down for snowplows. Drive safely.
  • View more information about these and other reminders on our website.

New Web Design Goes Live T

Improving the Digital Experience for our Community

We're excited to announce the launch of our redesigned website tomorrow. After just six months of development and thoughtful planning, we will launch phase 1 of our new site design, which seeks to provide a digital experience that better serves the needs of our residents and community.

Two improvements worth noting include:

  • Streamlined navigation for finding exactly what you need
  • Improved mobile experience for on-the-go access

If you are enrolled in our news announcements (press releases), you will need to re-enroll from our new website.

Phase 2 of our website redesign will include expanded content, frequently asked questions, accessible content upgrades, digital forms, updated images and more. Watch for new features through spring of 2027.
