Relief from Problem Potholes

Help for Pothole Patching

Public Works Department crews recently

completed a skim patch (thin overlay) on severely potholed roads that were impacted by the winter weather. The skim patch is expected to last five to eight years and has been applied to North Frontage Road near Walmart and several streets in the South Pines area east of 316. Due to the high number of potholes on these streets, it was more effective to apply a skim patch rather than individual pothole patches.
