Kindergarten Information Night

Thursday, February 13th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM

(Snow Date Monday, February 24, 2025)

Scituate High School Performing Arts Center

The Scituate Public Schools are excited to extend an invitation to all 2025-2026 Kindergarten families for an informational evening regarding the Kindergarten experience. As this general information meeting is for parents/guardians only.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Meet the elementary school Principals
• Learn about the kindergarten curriculum
• See an overview of a typical kindergarten day
• Learn about kindergarten registration
• Ask questions

Registration will open for the 2025-2026 school year on 

Friday February 14, 2025 @9:00 am in Aspen

The Talent Show is Rapidly Approaching!

Please note these important changes:

• Rehearsal - Date change Thurs 1/30 location change @ PAC 4pm
• Hatherly’s Got Talent Show - Thursday 2/6 location change @ PAC 6pm

The Book Fair is coming March 3/3-3/6!

We'll need volunteers to make this fun week happen!



Cold Weather Reminder:

With winter upon us, we want to remind you that all students are expected to go outside for recess. If the “feels like” temperature is 25 degrees or above, students will be going outside. The following clothing items are required when the temperature is 40 degrees or below:

• long pants 
• jackets or coats
• The new “style” is leggings or tights under shorts. As long as their skin is covered, those are acceptable-all skin must be covered!

Temperatures change from 8:00 a.m. to recess, so it is good to send students prepared to go outdoors every day! Be sure to LABEL all their clothing because they “wander” from their coat hooks. Thank you for your assistance in sending in clothing your children need so they can get the fresh air and activity!
