Breathtaking Views * Challenging Terrain * An Adventure
The Haulin’ Aspen races provide challenging courses set against a breathtaking backdrop of the Cascade Mountain Range in the Deschutes National Forest.
The marathon (26.2 miles) and half marathon (13.1 miles) feature amazing views and challenging terrain mostly run on forest service roads. Both races start at an elevation of nearly 5,500 feet.
Haulin' Aspen is a national USATF sanctioned event and offers plenty of aid stations along the courses.
Registered participants can compete in either the marathon or half marathon races, but to compete for one of the USATF Oregon championships they must be a USATF member.
