Haute House Studio September Happenings
The Haute House Studio word of the month is INSPIRATION. Watching kids (and adults) go back to school in the fall always INSPIRES the desire to learn, create, and grow. Anyone in school is getting opportunities at every turn to find something that INSPIRES them to continue their education, to find a passion in life whether temporary or life-long, and to expand their mind.

On the topic of inspiration, organization and creativity, Haute House Studio is hosting a "Intro to Bullet Journaling" workshop at our studio on Sunday, September 9. Join us for light nibbles, coffee, conversation, creativity and organization. One of the Twin Cities best hand lettering and bullet journaling experts will be guiding and teaching us all her skills. Leave feeling ready to conquer September and beyond. We will cover hand lettering basics, bullet journaling layouts, self-care tracking, and life hacks in a Pinterest-worthy setting with other like minded people. Spots are filling up fast and we are capping each class so everyone gets personalized attention. An adult session will be offered 9-10:30 a.m. and a teen one 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Click here to sign up and for more info.

Haute House Gardens: Tips from Marsha
Top 3 Hardy Shrubs

Haute House Studio co-owner and gardening expert Marsha Hunt is back at it with gardening tips, this time focusing on Hardy Shrubs. On the HHS blog she talks through her top three selections along with photos and tips for maintaining each shrub. Plus uses for their sticks or blooms post frost - very important here in the Bold North! Click here to read her post.
Haute Entertaining: Apples
It's officially apple season! It's time to visit the orchards, drink cider, eat an apple donut, try the new apple varieties, eat apples plain, sliced, baked and chopped. All of it! HHS team member Mia shares her favorite Apple Slaw recipe on our blog . It's simple, delicious, and healthy (key!). Bon appetit.

Haute House Flower of the Month: Anemone
This month’s Haute House Studio Flower of the Month is the Anemone.  It's a beautiful flower featuring a delicate, butter-cup like bloom that comes in several beautiful jewel tones such as this magenta one with the black center (left photo). One of our favorite varieties is the Japanese Anemone which we grow right in our own Haute House Gardens. It features a pale mauve bloom (right photo on the far left of the bouquet) that comes to life in the late summer. It's excellent in bouquets and floral arrangements due to it's color and sturdiness. It's a great floral selection for your garden as it's easy to divide and propagate to fill spaces.
Haute House Studio Around Town
Last month we took a little time to deliver flowers to one of our favorite local businesses - NC Little Hospice located in Edina.
A couple who's wedding flowers we designed asked us to donate their florals afterwards to a place that could use some beautiful arrangements.
Bridget and our team repurposed the flowers and her and (cute!) son John delivered them. Job love right here!
Haute Wedding Photo of the Month: Jessica and Jacob
We love fall weddings. It’s a chance to blend beautiful, rich, jewel tones found in nature with the glorious foliage textures as the leaves start to turn. This incredible wedding featured these rich, warm colors that turned summer into fall. Along with the beautiful couple, setting, and bridesmaid dresses - it all came together perfectly.
